Luxury holiday cottage in the Peak District National Park

Accommodation

The Hayloft has been converted to a high standard throughout, to provide luxury self-catering holiday cottage accommodation for 6 people in 3 en-suite bedrooms. There are solid oak cottage doors, and solid oak floors upstairs and slate floors with under-floor heating downstairs.

The bedrooms (1 double with 5ft bed, and 2 twin bedrooms) are downstairs. Upstairs, the light and spacious open-plan first floor features exposed roof trusses and has a well-equipped kitchen, ample dining space, and living room area complete with wood-burning stove. There is also a separate cloakroom (WC) on the first floor. To the rear, there is a private terraced garden with outdoor furniture, barbecue and log store, and plenty of parking – including an EV charge point – in the farmyard in front.

Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped, with an electric fan oven, touch-control ceramic hob, full-size dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, coffee/espresso maker, and DAB/FM digital radio.

Dining
The solid oak dining table extends to seat up to 8 people, providing ample space for relaxed dining.

Living
The comfortable living area has a wood-burning stove (all logs provided), flat-screen television with Freeview digital TV and a DVD/Blu-ray player. Free wireless broadband internet is provided.

Bedrooms
The bedrooms are all on the ground floor and feature slate floors with under-floor heating, solid oak furniture and en-suite shower rooms. The hot water is at mains pressure, so the effect is similar to a power shower. The main bedroom has a 5ft (king-size) bed and plenty of room for a travel cot if needed, while both twin bedrooms have 3ft beds. The beds have luxurious Hypnos mattresses, with hypoallergenic duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen.

Garden
The private terraced garden is accessed from the rear hallway, and has separate pedestrian access from the road.
